Yes, yes, yes! The Lord is at work in all of these things. You, me, our kids and grandkids. His story is alive, moving and breathing new life in new ways and old ways too. I’m so grateful for your wisdom and life, my friend. I have enjoyed long distance peeking...Hi Julie,
I have enjoyed long distance peeking at your blog since you began and have enjoyed growing up with you from afar. Time and distance are God things we may never understand in this world. Minutes sometimes click off so slowly and years buzz by so rapidly that we wonder where they went.
I can see my mother, now, standing in the driveway back in Amarillo watching me leave for college in 1957. She shared the same paradox about which you so beautifully shared and are living though now.
Now at age 78, after seeing four daughters graduate from college, marry and begin raising families of their own, I am beginning to grasp some of light from the other side. Eleven grand-children, two have just graduated from college, are beginning to broaden my perpective and to show me that God is still at work in my life and their's.
Maybe you and I are being used as His launching pads to help nurture and to help prepare His Angels for flight into that mysterious time and space. With God's gracious love, maybe we are called to move with and to enjoy those next generations of His children as He walks with us.
After all this time, I continue to pray for and thank the mother who game me birth and the mother who nurtured, taught, and cared for me through all of the years of her life. They both live on through their beautiful great-grandchildren.
God's paradoxes are indeed part of woof and weave of the fabric that hold us all together. Praise God and Jesus Christ His son.
Bob NcCasland
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06008177895203650900noreply@blogger.com
